About The Armory Revival Company (TARC)

TARC has 35 years of experience in planning, rehabbing and marketing historic buildings in southeastern New England. Founded in 1986 in Providence’s historic Armory District, The Armory Revival Company has been a driving force in the revitalization of Providence’s West Side. We have a passion for historic properties, for interesting design and for creating distinctive places to live and work. Our mission is to revitalize distressed and deteriorating neighborhoods and to improve the quality of life for the communities we work in. We develop for residents and businesses across the full spectrum of our economy, from affordable housing and workplaces to the most expensive condominiums in the City, based on the needs and aspirations of the neighborhood.

The company has 30 employees including its three principals: Robert Dupre, Mark Van Noppen and Barry Preston. To date the Company has completed more than 500 residences and apartments and 387,000 sf of office, commercial and retail space.
